forgiveness - hope is in sight

I am so glad to start this blog. I am not sure where to start. But I have had a pretty good week. My biggest obstacle for the past 7 years is forgiveness, and I feel I am beginning to see the sun over the mountains. The warm sun represents God's love erasing the pain and hurt and giving me the resources to forgive. It seems that I have been dealing with this for years. But instead of burying my hurt and pain and rage. I asked God to heal me of it. Forgiveness in my opinion is the hardest thing a christian must do. To not strike back, not instead pray for that person. God has brought many people in my life to help me heal too. Thank God for them!
